Spent last night being a proper degenerate on Otome Road, then visited a cute craft beer bar over in the west end of Ikebukuro.

So this one requires a bit of explanation.

This cocktail line is promotes their drinks heavily on the fresh juice content. The “Moscow Mule” is an excuse for ginger and a citrus fruit called shiikuwasha (or some variation therein)

Other drinks so far. We ended up at a restaurant in Shinjuku with some of Spring Valley’s expanded range. Afterdark is their dark lager. It’s very smooth compared to dark lagers back home

I had a lemon sour last night that might have been the most expensive cocktail I’ve had this trip. Yes, it came deconstructed. It was delicious.

I want to keep my alcohol related posts on this account because some of the concerns with young nerds go beyond naughty fandom content.

It’s a topic I’m professionally sensitive to because of work. While not on vacation, I mostly drink on weekends in very low amounts unless I’m out for cocktails.

First canned cocktails of the trip: a lemon sour from a curry place and this old fav. This is a grapefruit chuhi from the Hyoketsu line. I think they reformulated the flavour again.

I should try to look for the sugar free version.
