i wasn't even saying that i hc vik as russian. i simply stated that his og accent is as a fact because it is no matter how hard you try to reject it and i still got attacked for that

not to mention abbey in g1 mh had russian accent even tho she's not slavic at all. just bc she's like cold-hearted and comes from snowy land(common stereotypes about russians)

mh draculaura voice actress mentioned in one video that she uses "russian transylvanian" accent for draculaura. i have no idea what russian transylvanian is but i know draculaura is romanian and not russian. and it was a common thing back then. so i'm 100% sure og viktor's accent is russian

viktor was created in 2011. the times of wild application of stereotypes to different cultures in media. so many slavic characters had russian accent back then just bc yk it's easier to do it than to do some research.

i'll put aside that i know how these accents sound probably better than they do and the fact that og viktor is a communist caricature and focus on voice acting history (kinda)
