Gus is in high demand β€οΈ
The Sunrise Senior Living facility requested a visit w/ Gus last week.
Due to HIPAA we cannot post photos of the group who gathered, but Gus truly enjoyed his time educating and answering questions about himself and WRCNU.
Thank you Sunrise at Holladay, you were great hosts!
WRCNUβs Turkey Vulture Ambassador visited SLCCβs Mortuary Science Program at the end of February.
Gus had a great time!
The Class made Gus their "Official Mascot" in 2024 β€οΈ

RELEASED: Mallard Drake receives 3 weeks of TLC at WRCNU!
The patient was injured when hit by a vehicle. The collision caused his scalp to be pulled back from the beak to mid-forehead. After pain meds, sutures, antibiotics, and 3 weeks to heal he was successfully released. π₯°

It is "that time of year" again ππ¦
1st Eagle of the year dies from lead poisoning
Lead poisoning in predators takes place every year after the start of the rifle deer season & continues through March when predators scavenge gut piles left
The loss of this beauty was preventable. Be the solution π
