A dog will have its day, but the tragedy is that he will have no calendar.

Stop putting "mas" on the end of things you do all year long and also do at Christmas. "Burgermas" or "Friendmas". Just stop it.

The 'high-speed' 420d usually gets a mention in these pieces.

Band Aid"n". Great at the time and of its time. When people were not hyper-aware of everything. Since 1985 the music industry, attitudes and fund raising methods have all changed. Probably time to let it in the past.

Lovely but spectacularly over-engineered. What was wrong with a walkway?

99%sure that's the case. As to whether you are allowed is a different question but I bet the Deliveroo lads would know.

Rather than buying votes by promising free TV licenses etc how about somebody say we are going to ask RTE for a 10% cost reduction across the board and pass that on as a reduction in license fee. Cost neutral.

Wasn't ever part of the bandwagon, free platforms are free platforms, but "X" is really a dumpster fire now.

Signage at Tramore Valley Park. The one painted on the path agrees with the 'humans on the left' sign unless of course you are walking on the opposite direction when it implies 'humans on the right' at which point they all contradict each other.

Northampton look handy (maybe we made them look handy) but they have a tough draw.

I like it. Maybe a random draw in the RTE canteen. Same as how the Late Late guests are picked so they could reuse the Tombola.

I don't know who said this originally but very meaningful : β€œClimb the mountain not to plant your flag, but to embrace the challenge, enjoy the air and behold the view. Climb it so you can see the world, not so the world can see you.” Family quoted it on the death of Corkman James O'Connor. RIP

Suggestion for low-cost RTE festive documentary - "The Goats of Christmas Past". One of the canteen staff visits local farmers and asks them to tell some funny goat related stories.
