Had lunch with the family of my daughter’s co- teacher. So wonderful to have a regular family meal. Mumma and Papa, sisters and their husbands, not forgetting Eve the puppy too. Only two weeks left in South Korea, as sad as I feel I am also ready for my home.

I have only just recovered from #RunJin_EP.Tour_D2 To say I was shook & left with a hoarse voice from screaming would underestimate things. I was lucky enough to be on the side of the seating that Jimin’s little tent was. So many things happened all I can say is I love #BTS an abnormal amount.

The memorial stone for the young people who lost their lives on a night that was meant to be fun. I placed some white sweet peas at the base of the memorial slab near the Itaewon alleyway. A crush of people led to the deaths of 159 mostly young people on the night of 29 Oct 2022.

I was in Itaewon this morning and left some sweet peas in memory of all the young lives lost due to the tragic event 3 years ago. May they be resting in peace.

We talk about the reverse culture shock a lot. I think the major ones will be the lack of delivery service and being more cognisant of personal safety again.

My daughter has to work unfortunately.

I am here to help my daughter move home. She has been living here for six years.

I’ll definitely be sharing the experience, I’m going by myself but hoping my BlueSky friends will be with me in spirit.
