Finally got to see #Wicked and it did not fail to deliver. It was visually beautiful and the casting was fantastic. The songs, the choreography- just amazing.

I play around like that with different languages depending on the race (Nordic for dwarves, Italian for Orcs, Slavic for gnomes, etc.)

When I was coming up with the name for an arcane character, I adapted some Slavic names (changing spelling, etc.)

My daughter's birthday is Dec. 31. We typically hold her party in mid-January.

I'm a happy ending fan for the most part. However, if the story calls for an unhappy ending, then by all means do that.

App State fires Clark after five seasons BOONE — Appalachian State University has parted ways with head football coach Shawn Clark.

I can't say I'm surprised that #AppState terminated Coach Clark's contract. Hopefully, the next coach can return the program to its winning ways and contend for conference championships.

One thing about the day job that NEVER gets old is getting to tell the stories of patients whose lives have been positively transformed by cutting-edge treatments.

One thing I really love about the holiday season is taking a walk with my daughter around our neighborhood to look at the Christmas lights. We've been doing it for years. Such a special time.

Reminds me to wash my fencing jacket. It's only been 3 or 4 months since it saw soap.

I'm working on my third book (second novel) based in a world that's a fantasy/old west/ steampunk setting. My MC is a dwarf bounty hunter.

My favorite piece of music!

I've been fencing for about 5 years. There are times I hoped the sport would help me write thrilling depictions of sword play, but in truth, points are scored so quickly that it's changed my viewpoint - duels are fast, even among equally skilled opponents.
