Authors - stop using AI to create promo images! Why are you trashing other creatives? Find a photographer/illustrator and team up with them - there are LOTS and you can build something genuinely affirming and good for both of you rather than stomping over visual artists for your own benefit.

My only regret is not getting into the hobby sooner, so I could have learnt from my dad. I have his Lamy Al-Star

My dad always used to tell me of dipping pigtails in those inkwells. He was in school at the same time as you and gave me my first fountain pen. I never saw being a lefty as a bad thing as my whole family are lefties. It's never been an issue with fountain pens for me. Whiteboards though!
