with other parts of the fandom are quick to share, there is definitely plenty of art featuring women too. It may not be the kind of art people in 'The Discourse' are wanting, but there isn't this total and fundamental void of women in the fandom's art like some seem to think there is.

I don't get when I see people use this rhetoric of there somehow being a lack of depiction of women in the Fandom's art. Yeah it can seem like this if you are only experiencing and exploring the gayest sections of it.... And maybe in FVN's specifically sure. But as my friends who engage

People showing up to the Hockey game:

"Hmm, we're noticing a major lack of Basketball being playing here...." 🤨🤔🧐

People take themselves to a section of the fandom that happens to currently be the gayest and start to complain under the guise of there being an issue with representation

This resurfaced memories from a long time ago when I found a lost wallet on the side of the road. I was going to report it to authorities so that it could find it's owner, but then I became worried that they were going to think that I had took the wallet, or taken money from it. So I just left it 🙃

Love the game too, but was waiting for someone to do something like this.

Personally though, it was something about how some of the characters were portrayed that definitely plucked at the ableist string in a way that wasn't *quite* uncomfortable, but certainly not comfortable either.
