Online? That's a tough one. I have a couple of Discord servers that I enjoy for now. Discord looks like it is becoming problematic too. I might dive into an audio book, perhaps youtube for brainrot, or just disconnect with a game on GOG or steam. Not sure there is a good place anymore.

New boss came in and was not only the opposite, he started a desk rotation. In the 1st year people out on sick leave doubled because illness would spread throughout the office so fast no one get get a handle on it.

I worked in a call center where we had a boss that would get really pissed if you came into work sick. He know that it would end up making more people sick and overall cost more lost time.

Nah, a general strike will have more impact when people don't already have the day off. Personally I think Wednesday is the best day for something like this. It would completely fuck with the flow of the week causing the most impact.
