While the Hungry Caterpillar is a nice party member to have, its leaf munching ability is too niche to justify its purchase at this time. You also don't currently have the resources to protect it long enough for it to reach its final form (it requires a massive amount of XP)

It's like in one of those roguelike games where you can only choose one of the random upgrades, and you had to choose Spot instead of the caterpillar
