The IMAX is *very* confusingly used. When the film does switch to full IMAX, it’s magnificent. I don’t understand the creative decision to switch back and forth.

Just saw “Sinners” again, this time in IMAX 70mm. Two thoughts:

* The “end credits” sequence is a sort of cheat. It’s SO integral to the movie and everything the movie is saying about life and love and good and evil and music that it’s horrifying to imagine some people might leave.

Take it from America — you’re past the point of no return. The dam has broken. Good luck to all of us around the world who want to see this kind of evil defeated. We all had our chance 15 years ago and we pretended the threat wasn’t real or serious.

I don’t understand their motives. This movie could stay in theaters for six months. It could overwrite the existing “theatrical window” paradigm. I’m going to go see it in its 70mm IMAX “re-release” next week and every show is sold out. But they haven’t extended it. Hollywood is dumb.

Looking back, 30 hours online each month was more than sufficient.

Fuzzy details are what separates a memoir from reportage. Memoirs require only the veracity of the author’s memory and impressions.

That is 100% the best way and reason to write anything at all. Sounds wonderful!
