"FETE DES CLOWNS 24x12 Acrylic Its time for Mardi Gras... This impressionistic acrylic painting is based on the 1995 Soulard Mardi Gras Parade, "FETE DES CLOWNS" which in my mind was the greatest of all !!! Featuring TiNY TiM as the Grand Marshal, riding in Dean Pauley's world famous art car "MISS VICKY". It was in the mid 70's that day and a few hundred thousand people showed up. St. Louis was in the top 3 largest Mardi Gras in the world along with Rio de Janeiro, and of course New Orleans! What a great time to be in parades!!!
