Today marks the 20th Anniversary of Cave Story.

Cave Story really is an important part of indie game history.

The creator really deserves more credit and respect and I really want to see Cave Story be talked about more and the impact that it had.

I remade the Slam Cannon with better proportions and more accurate details. I intend to do the other Generator Rex weapons at some point but not sure when I'll get to it.

The class system: one of the several cut mechanics used to try to make the game more interesting. Each class would have unique abilities and buffs to the use of certain weapons.

For instance, the movement based ability would go on to become the academy dash feature. Pretty cool!

I improved the world map in FusionFall, before you could only slowly pan around with the arrows. Now it supports dragging, zooming in/out with the scroll wheel, and I also added unique sounds for specific actions. Feels so much better to use now!
