In 2022 South Africa’s Minister of Defence released Gripen lifetime flying hour data for the first time since 2013. At the time it went unnoticed.

I’ve compared it wjth the 2013 numbers, and a grim picture: Of 26 aircraft, 7 haven’t flown at all since 2013.
