The only difference is that the ACA requires health insurance to cover certain services. With TACO care health insurance companies could decide to cover NOTHING.

What TACO is describing is the ACA: you are provided a subsidy & then the ACA marketplace lists the health insurance plans that accept your subsidy.

She's come to the conclusion that she can grift more money from the MAGA rubes running for governor. Remember whatever is NOT spent she does NOT need to return and she can spend on other "campaign activities".

TACO plays War. Scraping the filibuster to NOT pass ACA supplements is the only way he "wins" the shutdown. TACO does not engage in long term strategic thinking. Just "win" the current round.

Remember, the average voter will blame the President for everything bad that happens and credit the President for everything good that happens.

IMO what this really proves is that the shutdown was NOT TACO's preferred plan of action. I think TACO wanted to negotiate and Thune & Johnson convinced him not to negotiate. Now TACO realizes that the only way he "wins" is to get rid of the filibuster.

What won't be constitutional IMO is allowing the Govt to NOT refund the excess tariff. Congress granted the Pres the ability to apply emergency tariffs of up to 15%, this court will NOT take that from TACO. However, it means TACO has to reinstate the 15% tariff every 180 days. 1/

IMO the court will rule that TACO can NOT place tariffs higher then by law - 15% "emergency" tariff for 180 days & that the money already collected from the higher tariffs the govt does NOT need to refund.

IMO what is really interesting is that while it's most likely Rs who are criticizing R reps at town halls etc. etc. in deep red districts those same Rs still are happy with the current state of their party. The denial runs VERY deep with those voters.
