Today I tabled a petition from Kath Madgwick and Jenny Miller calling for those responsible to finally be held accountable.
Our politicians don’t represent us. That is plainly obvious.
In my opinion the most likely reasons are.
1. They are afraid of their allies.
2. They are beholden to their donors & their lobbyists.
3. It’s all about jobs after politics.
We sorely need truth in politics.
The LNP and ALP tell us that increasing spending on health, education, science, housing and infrastructure that benefits Australians is unsustainable.
Now they team up to avoid transparency on a defence contract that will end up costing >$500 billion for submarines we may not get.
