Oh woe is me, I should have rent my garments and beat my breast over a mass shooting 30 years ago. I live in America, bud. Mass killings of schoolkids are commonplace here. Bombings of schools that kill hundreds, for which no one takes responsibility, not so much.
No one is blaming victims.
You can't read for comprehension, apparently. The identification of the modern Beit Shemesh with the eponymous biblical city was made by Robinson, in the late 1830s using dicey linguistics. So much for your claim of antiquity.

Well, you could have checked the link, which of course was skeptical the words are the same.
Why donβt you read it now, and become a little less stupid?

I was actually referring to the attacks on the Fao Peninsula, where the CIA gave Saddam satellite data to use as targeting information for his chemical weapons. Of course, as you know, earlier that year, Saddam had also attacked the Kurds with chemical agents.

I am amused though by the outrage with which Israelis greet a few domestic war deaths, oblivious to the carnage wrought by their own government in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iran. And thatβs just this week!

Nonsense. From the wiki page.
For Robinson and Smith, the natives unwittingly carry the "divine dialect" of the land. Based on information from their lips, Robinson turns Ain Shams into the Bible's Beit Shemesh, Ain and Beit being so seemingly common as to be interchangeable.
Day 3: a bans whose name starts with C . There is only one possible choice: The Clash. And there is only one possible song, this week, of all weeks.

They think wiping out the Iranian navy will take care of it. These people havenβt yet internalized the fact Iran doesnβt need a navy. It has tens of thousands of drones. Set one big oil tanker ablaze, and the job is done. No shipping company will risk a $100m tanker on a Trump promise.

Indeed. The US sent satellite data to Saddam Hussein, so he could accurately target his chemical attacks.
And Americans wonder why they hate the US. No, itβs not because weβre rich and successful. Itβs because we murder them.
