In a stunning rejection of Republican Gov. Jeff Landry, Louisiana voters turned down all four of his constitutional amendments Saturday.

The amendments fared better in deep red-Republican strongholds. St. Tammany (4th largest) and Bossier (12th) voters approved Amendments 1, 2 and 4, but 52% rejected Amendment 3. Livingston (9th) approved all four.

Some takeaways from today's election: Voters in Gov. Landry's native parish, St. Landry, and current home parish, Lafayette, rejected all four amendments with 60% or more them opposed. The loss in Lafayette is more notable because its the state's 5th largest in population
