Judge Quraishi says that if ICE keeps arresting people and detaining them without bond under the legal theory that has been rejected by hundreds of judges, and any of those cases come across his bench, he'll immediately order DHS and DOJ personnel hauled into court to explain themselves.

They are blatantly doing taxation without representation towards all the blue states, expecting us to keep footing the bill while they take away our services and instead use our own money to oppress us. If it weren't for the fact that it's a Putin wet dream, I'd be screaming for CA secession daily.

And the really maddening part is that NO ONE in Congress seems to care. This is literal, by-the-book treason, and all they can say is "hey cut that out".

the last few weeks in MN have been the greatest moment of nonviolent protest i've seen in my lifetime. i spoke to the organizers of marches and demonstrations, bike rides and ice fishing protests—and even a puppeteer—about this winter of protest in minnesota.

I don’t think people understand what’s this means: MEDICARE AND MEDICAID ARE BLOCKING ALL WHEELCHAIRS, WALKERS, CANES, INSULIN PUMPS, GLUCOSE MONITORS, CPAP MACHINES, NEBULIZERS, BEDS, CRUTCHES, COMODE CHAIRS, BED SORE PRESSURE PADS, CHAIR LIFTS, OXYGEN TANKS, BREATHING EQUIPMENT, to name a few.

It’s not just Medicaid funding they’re withholding to MN. It’s food assistance, child care assistance, social services, job training, safety testing, public health, disaster relief. SNAP. Free lunch for kids in school.

They hate us for loving our neighbors, and are collectively punishing us for it.

...but cutting programs that were helping so many in our community. We are giving them money and they are misappropriating it. We are not all trained to take on second and third unpaid jobs. It's just so wrong.

There are efficient, practical reasons for collecting tax dollars to invest back in the communities where we live. The community benefits when we invest in health, education, sanitation, clean water, etc. So it's hard to feel like they are taking our tax dollars to build concentration camps...

This is wrong and illegal and it comes only a few days after we *won* a temporary restraining order on similar retaliatory CDC funding cuts.

Lots of steps they could take if they were serious about fraud. They are not. This is collective punishment.

We can win here too.

And we will.
