This is 1 of our foster kids, &we just got him an electric scooter-he absolutely loves it. This sweet boy is on the autism spectrum, &he was hooting &giggling the whole time. At one point he stopped, did a little happy dance, then got back on &kept going. In that moment, all of our hearts were full.

Today I’m celebrating getting back on the trail! I suffered either a strained shin muscle or minor tibial fracture &it put me out of commission for 2 weeks in terms of hiking and running.
I really missed it-my trail time is one of the cornerstones of my mental, emotional &physical health. 💚
