BREAKING: One dead following an altercation b/w two large groups of men outside a Surrey business last night at around 9:52 pm near 102 Ave & City Parkway. The groups had fled before police arrived.

Police say the Surrey residence, where the search warrant was executed, was surrounded by compound fencing, steel gates, & razor wire. The entry doors were fully covered by metal shutters, and both the interior & exterior of the residence were equipped with video and audio monitoring systems.

Three individuals were arrested: one Mexican national & two Canadian citizens with ties to local gangs, believed to be involved in the importation of cocaine into Canada. All three have since been released. Police have refused to identify the suspects as they have not yet been officially charged.
