YouTube video by Modern History TV Medieval battle flags, what were they like and how were they used?

I feel I need to revisit this video Warlord and I did a few years ago, but with Silver Moon once he's fully trained with flags. I think I should be on top of a hill somewhere, any ideas? youtu.be/-2uvDs-WbqQ?...

It's complex. There's some contraction post Covid lock-in boom, some big games got released and they were too expensive for the market so people lost a lot of money on them. starter salaries and NI have increased quite a bit so where you might have hired four newbies, you might only hire two etc.

The heavily armoured cable has indeed been gnawed through. The teeth marks seem preternaturally large and there are uncanny slashes or clawing around the area. Last night there was chanting to be heard in the distance. I did not sleep well.

I've just sent this note to our IT department.

'Yes I can trace it to the box O'lights and it's entirely possible that the cable has been gnawed through'.

I feel a piratically-themed eldritch-horror tale is about to unfold.

My goodness that both interesting and complex. I guess you'd need to start with the type of environment and rough technology level and setting, the look at art styles too. Then what sort of game and what scale of budget etc.

Shifted my day two hours earlier to work in the relative coolness. I awoke at 4.00am and it got just too hot for me by 10am to do any mucking out or anything physical. The outdoor thermometer in the sun says 34 already. I feel discombobulated.

he's only semi-retired, we still ride out to adventure twice a week at least, just no tournaments or jousting for him.

Finally we've had some decent rain, everything smells lovely and the grass looks greener already. Went out on Warlord between showers and saw this great bird, a buzzard I think. Then got soaked, happily, as it rained again.

Did two hours of book signing today. Forgot how to sign my name several times. Very excited to see these shipped out to readers over the next week or so. Thanks to the team for helping.

OK Lord of Blackthorne book update!

The copies have arrived from the printers so I'm going to be signing then all over the next two days. (I have two pallet loads of books to sign!), and they get sent out. There are 31 people who still haven't filled in the details I need.
