The strangest thing is that I found it at a shop I pop into maybe once every four months, but then I found another copy on the same day (!) at my neighborhood shop, but for almost twice what I paid for this one. I never find her records. Very lucky moment in time ☺️

Of course we don’t stop adding to the collection just because the record player is broken, lol

Visited Saturn and New Orleans and all good places from my seat at the Hollywood Theatre last night. Thank you for an evening of respite and pure joy 🧑

I’m really enjoying them again too. I still have a bit of an issue with space for certain precious things so they’re not as easy to access as I’d like. Currently occupying layered space with all the sweet gifts my son has brought me from his travels. Pls don’t judge, lol

No. Not at all. If I recall this was from a kind of β€œat cost” bootleg label specializing in rare, avant garde releases

Did you listen to the Su Tissue recording i posted yesterday? That’s pretty special, imo. You may not have heard it only because it’s hard to come by a legit copy

Just waiting (forever) for my teen child to get ready, standing in my hall which features a ginormous family photo collage. I think I’ve pinpointed the funniest pic.. of Garfy trying to sample the curry paneer pizza. Lol. That kitty would eat anything if I let him

It’s been a joy. Immaculate sound. I got a very sweet deal from a trusted friend. My turntable needs a repair so it’s getting a lot of attention lately 😁

I was supposed to go to a tasting event in wine country today, but my friend got sick so I’m home with the cats, in our lovely, sunshiny room, listening to droney music and that’s pretty great too πŸ’™

View from a window where I’m sitting, listening to music and struggling with the 26 October 2025 Guardian β€œquick” crossword. Today’s was far too easy so I chose a random second challenge. Ha. Now I’m tearing my hair out! Anyway, the dynamic sky is especially wonderful this time of year in Portland. Thankfully, β€œovercast” winters aren’t really a thing here.
