That’s very kind of you. For clarity: I only designed Dolly’s mask and prosthetics, Ashley Thomas (@yellowmothmakeup on instagram) was the on set prosthetics supervisor and not only applied my Dolly designs but also devised and ran all the gore gags, so I want to ensure she’s recognised!

The through and throughs are delightful but I think the front on shots are occasionally a little overpowered, I don’t want so much mist, I want a big wet web of blood! Need to put a bit of slime in that blood pack!

I have been singing the praises of this film since I caught a pre-release screening at a festival many years ago. It’s criminally under seen, an absolutely fantastic body horror!

I have eaten many almonds in my life but only today have I had one that tasted like marzipan and let me tell you, I am shook!

Do I know anyone who knows anyone who makes their own procreate brushes? I’m trying to make a dynamic brush and I’m so close but it’s not doing what I feel it should be doing. Anyone I could talk to out there?

A large bottle of sugar syrup by the condiments at a till (in a pizza place in a Korean airport) that is clearly marked “sugar syrup” has a red sign on it that says “It’s not hand sanitiser, It’s sugar syrup.” The “It’s not hand sanitiser” is underlined, which makes me read it in a very tired voice.

I love this.

I find it hilarious that it’s the only song that’s just in English.

The apostrophisation of “it’s” makes it feel more weary than annoyed, which I find delightful.

I wonder how many errors occurred before they decided they needed a sign…

It’s a picture of the Incheon bridge just outside Seoul on a foggy morning and it looks like the bridge at the start of Shadow of the Colossus. A bit.

Getting into this gritty, urban reboot of Shadow Of the Colossus but do think I bonded more with Argo than I have with Hyundai Kona, so far, at least…

Guess that’ll make it easier for me later…
