Just heard from a friend in Tehran who says reality is even worse than the pictures. When they hit the depot in Aghdasiyeh, he could hear and feel it from 15km away.

He says if he could reach internet he’d say: “today is the day the world shall end, as the scripture has foretold,” he says.

There are gutters in the street to channel the water down from the mountains. It seems that those are now filled with oil.

Heard secondhand from my uncle this morning who said that the smell from the bombs was already so strong; I cannot imagine breathing in this.

The pollution from US/Israel strikes will last a long time. They can't even put these fires out. They have to wait for the fire to peter out.

I can’t bear to look at the pictures of Tehran right now. Oil is flowing into the streets because Tehran has open mini-canals for rainwater. Tehran will lose so many trees. :(

Only a week into the war and they have started hitting fuel storage and refineries.

And some on here questioned it. I am sorry. If you had been paying close attention to what they did in Gaza, you would have known what was coming.

North Tehran’s Aqdasiyeh oil depot is ablaze tonight after it was targeted by multiple US-Israeli airstrikes. Apocalyptic scenes filmed by Iranians driving on the nearby highway. Local reporters saying firefighters can’t put it out. This depot is critical energy infrastructure for Iran.

Israel used to say it was the only democratic state in the Middle East. Looks like Bibi wants it to be the only state in the Middle East.

US-Israeli targets include schools, health care infrastructure, Tehran’s airport, and now, if what Iran’s foreign minister says is accurate, a desalination plant providing water to 30 villages.

What a precedent to set, hitting desalination plants around the Gulf which so heavily relies on them.

IRGC statement clarifies in case there was any confusion: “should the previous hostile actions continue, all military bases and interests of criminal America… on land, at sea, and in the air across the region will be considered primary targets.”
