I agree with you, Gov. Ferguson. We also need to fully fund K-12 education, including fully covering the cost of special education. It's shameful that we don't. Thank you for your hard work and blessings to you and yours.

Please vote YES on the operations levy for Seattle Public Schools however - it's badly needed and things will be dire for students if it doesn't pass.

Please vote no on Seattle Schools prop 2 - the levy for school construction. It doesn't address many schools that need fixing and puts money towards a new but unnamed very expensive elementary. Make SPS try again with a better plan in November after some actual community engagement.

You do have senators and representatives in DC, and mine are all democrats (yours may be too depending on where you live). I hear you that that doesn't help much with the Republican majority. Federal taxes go to the national government and it's not possible to keep them short of secession.

Maybe you should cancel? Unless, like some of us, it might be a relief to not have to cook or do dishes, or not have to take care of other people, or a chance to lounge around and read books.

I recognize stores have the right to lock up products and I recognize that theft is a problem. But if I have to ask an employee to get me something out of a locked cabinet I'm not shopping there. bsky.app/profile/phil...

Are there *any* counties that would be ready for that many serious fires at once? I doubt it.
