An exception to my β€œall fics in this Lucitober take place in the same universe” rule, this is AU from near the end of S5B - Lucifer was too broken over Chloe’s death to think of trying to bring her back, but Amenadiel begged Michael to spare their brother…and so their surprise, he did. A broken Lucifer returned to Hell - and over time, realized the power of Lilith’s immortality in his ring. And he only built upon that.
