Here’s the thing with Platner: what is his actual deal? We have a lot of information about this guy. He hasn’t been a longtime fighter for his community or progressivism or populist causes. He just woke up one day and decided to start saying the right words. Well, okay, a lot of people can do that.

Color me skeptical that Platner's entirely-performative schtick as rugged anti-oligarchy progressive will attract crossover voters while his entirely-real sexism, racism, and antisemitism won't ultimately repel base voters.

I don't think folks have internalized how much state-level power Dems could win in 2026.
If it's a great night for Ds, they could win trifectas in all Biden-won states except NH, VT, & GA. That's 53% of the U.S. population.
If they also win GA-gov, Rs would have least state-level power since 2010.

NC-03 was uncontested in 2018, so that may have made the difference.
