Yes! What we did in 2023 is still a model for other states. A metro-specific sales tax is a good way to fund transit operations. And it sucks that blue cities in red states are blocked from having that. But blue states have NO EXCUSE; they need to support their cities with transit!

We're not done. We have transit operating dollars and can push for more capital in bonding bills. We have champions ready to push for more. But to really move forward, we need to elect more a few Democrats and/or primary the weak ones.
