The coalition agreement between National & Act states βIntroduce a Treaty Principles Bill based on existing ACT policy and support it to a Select Committee as soon as practicableβ. That has been delivered. Any further expenses associated with this Bill are a choice for National.

Revisions to the costings for the Treaty Principles Bill have calculated due to the record number of submissions provided to the Justice Select Committee. Originally we forecast that $4.1m would be needed - but that was before 343,000 physical and digital submissions. A π§΅
