When I suggested that Shamima Begum had been radicalised in articles for @bylinetimes.bsky.social and that she was our responsibility back in 2019/20 I was called a traitor and invited to go and live in Syria.

How has Nigel Farage suddenly changed his mind?

Integrity or the Trump mind virus?

In 1977, Vincent Price starred in a one-man-show where he played openly gay Oscar Wilde; it was condemned by Anita Bryant. When asked about her condemnation, Price replied that Wilde had already written a play about Anita: β€œA Woman of No Importance”

Just seen that Eric Morecambe's carpet cleaner has gone for Β£200. I wouldn't have it for free. What's the fucking point? Are you going to use it or is it going to be on a pedestal in the living room? Telling guests "I own Eric Morecambe's Bex Bissell. It's my pension."

Why X-rated masterpiece The Devils is still being censored Fifty years ago, Ken Russell's historical drama shocked the world with raw violence and mass orgies. It is a tour de force that deserves to be seen in full, writes Adam Scovell.

Saw Ken Russell's The Devils for the first time last night, on the big screen. Derek Jarman's sets are fantastic - all the white tiling, based on the "rape in a public toilet" aesthetic. Very similar to the current trend for clinical kitchens that resemble post mortem rooms. I loved it.

London has a congestion charge – and traffic in gridlock. We need other ways to end the obsession with cars | Jonn Elledge The charge was seen as draconian, but new thinking is now essential. Look to the cities trying a range of bold ideas, says author Jonn Elledge

The biggest question raised here must be: who on earth is choosing to drive in London, the city with by far the best public transport system in Britain?
