I know! And then they act like they are so brave for standing up for these books (even though these books are already frustratingly popular).
All this does is somehow villainize diversity and let them play the victim.
And I don't understand it.

I think the bigger problem is how loud they are and how many people think like them. There is a scary amount of power behind these systems that they are benefitting from 😮‍💨 Then it becomes harder and harder for any minority group to see the same (or more) success

I just keep seeing videos of people saying that they like and will promote problematic authors. And that they know they aren't a safe space and they're okay with it.
And idk why so many people are moving in the exact wrong direction 😵‍💫
