We have been misled. We thought that in the USA we had a Senate and a House of Representatives which might be involved in initiating any act of war. Apparently not.

Now what???

The morally bankrupt Trump administration has partnered with another morally bankrupt authoritarian to declare an unprovoked war on Iran, already killing scores of civilians.

We need an immediate vote from Congress on a War Powers Resolution. Then articles of impeachment.

The President has launched our nation and our great military into a war of choice, risking American lives and resources, ignoring American law, and endangering our allies and partners. It does nothing to help with the urgent problems here at home that Americans face every day.

Every so often Turkey Dog will be sitting next to me and her tail starts to wag when there’s no particular reason for her to be happy except that she’s inside a house on a soft dog bed instead of out in the rain, and I remember that there is yet good in the world.
