As the DM for the campaign this worldbuilding is for, I see absolutely no reason why not! Especially with the cool mutations he already has!

Vampyr Language Warning Click - a sharp but quiet click caused by partially extended fangs clicking rapidly together. Used as an indicator of annoyance or minor distress. Sometimes can be accompanied with flattened ears or an "eye flash" Hiss - an audible hiss similar to a cat's. Done as a display of actual anger but may also be done "playfully". Should be assumed negative unless the vampyr is well known. Screech - a loud noise that has a "vibrating" quality to it that is a mixture of a hiss and a screech that has a clicking undertone. Always signals high likelihood of attack. Chirp - very quiet high-pitched "brrup" noise made in the back of the throat. Easy to miss but indicates happiness and contentment in response to an action. Distress Click - static-sounding whine made in the back of the throat. Normally paired with flattened ears and always indicates distress or fear Chitter - companion sound to a chirp that is easier to hear and long-form. Generally used as an indicator of high pleasure or excitement.

Don't mind me, just sorting out san'layn noise language because we've been playing with them making bat noises because they get bat mutations like wide ears, bat noses, wings, etc.

The fact you can enjoy this level of storytelling for free is wild. I cannot recommend this game enough.

Especially if you like WoW and FFXV lol, so many spins on their best story beats that all land amazingly.
