Michelangelo news. We got the bronze copy of David off his plinth and into the SMK through a window all right, as you can see.
Once a Jewish hero, the florentines appropriated him as a symbol of tiny but strong Florence. Now, it is perhaps symbolising Europe alone at home?

Are we witnessing a revolution in the US? It looks like a full-scale rapid, unlawful overturn of the existing political, financial, governmental etc. structures, supported by the majority.

Michelangelo news again: out conservation departement is breaking new grund, cleaning our old plaster cast copies.
Since forever, cleaning plaster has been close to impossible.
But here we are, now able to get the century old dirt off, without causing damage, using heated algae (agar).

Preparing for the upcoming Michelangelo exhibit at the SMK called for a new way of using post-its.
I had to count how many pieces of plaster were used in the process of making a mould of Michelangelo's "Day" in the 19th cent., before silicon rubber and 3D-printing were invented.
