August brings a full slate of events to the Beer Garden. From taproom takeovers to game nights and matchmaking. We’re open Wednesday through Sunday – check the schedule and stop in.

This beer is soft, fluffy, and totally loaded—brewed with wheat, oats, Nelson Hyperboost, and thiolized yeast for notes of pineapple lychee juice, fried garlic, and biscuit. Grab a pint and hit the pop-up menu: steak & ale links, chorizo, beer brats and more.

Links Taproom is popping up at the Half Acre Taproom this Tuesday, August 5 from 5 to 9PM. We brewed a Hazy DIPA together – McGrupp and the Watchful Hazemasters – to mark the occasion. Collab beer, sausage-focused menu, good company. Last call at 8:30.

Join us Monday, July 28 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Chicago Botanic Garden for Music on the Esplanade with Strung Out playing 70s rock, soul, and funk. Half Acre will be pouring Daisy Cutter and Reef Knot, our bright summer lager. Proceeds support the Great Lakes Business Network.

Fresh, bright, and here to help you beat the heat – our Summer Salad layers crisp romaine, sweet corn, oranges, cherry tomatoes, pickled red onion, fried shallots, and a strawberry orange vinaigrette. Vegan and gluten free as is, or add feta for a little extra. Available in the taproom.

The cold box is also stocked with plenty of fresh options in 16oz four-packs, including Navaja Triple IPA, Den Kölsch, Sky Show IPA, and Only Gold, our New Zealand-style Pilsner collaboration with Vienna Beef. Find them all in the shop.

The last of our Wyld beers are available in the Half Acre shop, with Passing Lands, Cliffs, Fen, and Yanari each offering a distinct take on mixed culture fermentation, from oak-aged depth to delicate, wheat-driven character. These bottles are limited and won’t stick around long.

For those feeling another kind of adventurous, we’re offering the Half Acre Handshake – a 16oz pour of Fader and a 5oz pour of Navaja for $12. All of this and more at the taproom. Swing through.

At Balmoral, we're hosting a MeetIRL matchmaking event on 7/18 from 6:30-9pm and The Vault Artist and Vendor Market on 7/19 from 12-7pm. Normal taproom hours on Saturday, but we will only be offering 16oz disposable cup pours + a limited food menu so everyone can enjoy the market.

Smack dab in the middle of everybody-out-enjoying-the-city-season and here's where we'll see you. Catch us pouring Daisy Cutter + Slow Melt at Salt Shed tonight 7/17. We'll also be pouring at Horner Park Beer Fest 7/18, and Ravenswood on Tap 7/19.

Nebula Double Daisy Cutter is brawny 8% ABV creamsicle smoothie of a Hazy Double IPA with sound hop bitterness and a fresh bouquet of tropical fruit aromas.

Nebula DDC is available in 4-packs at finer beer shops and grocers for a limited time.
