I think having Pete Buttigieg doing a daily Dem press briefing on Capitol Hill is an outstanding idea. Make him the Democratic press secretary I promise you, the media will cover him. A daily opposition prep briefing will have all of the legit media in attendance and the world will watch . Failure to do so is surrender.
