A camellia with a mix of blooms on the same branches. Some of the blooms are solid magenta in colour, and some are variegated with streaks of white.
My Wonderland Camellia™ bring me so much joy in winter.
I can only assume this Camellia used to be white, until someone painted its blossoms magenta. Now that it’s rained, some of the white is showing through.
Alice wrote of the Queen of Hearts having roses in her garden. What about Camellias?
Made this Depression (era) Cake (without eggs) using GF flour.
Didn’t try the icing. Made cream cheese icing with with #DutchCocoa from scratch.
They were a little dense. Not sure if they’re normally like that, or if it was because they were GF.

One of the hotels I stayed in, in #Bali, had an international power outlet.
No need for me to get an adaptor. Most (all?) power plugs can use this outlet.

They’re at the top of the cliff above #BinginBeach in #SouthKuta. There is a deck and a pool that I can see from my door with a magnificent view of the ocean.

Balinese food on a table next to a beach. The sun is shining, the sand is bright and warm, the water is clear and blue. There are empty tables with umbrellas in rows on the beach. No one else is about.
My first meal in Bali.
Fresh snapper and octopus in Balinese spices with rice, greens, with watermelon and strawberry juice.
They put the spice on side for me so I could add it to the level I can handle.
It was all delicious.
The view doesn’t suck. 😍
