As it turns out, Texas is one of the queerest states in the country. Only California has more LGBTQ+ identifying residents. Texas is home to more queer people than all the queer people in Canada.

Texas Is a Lot More Queer Than You Think. I Am Too. There are 1.8 million of us, and we’re not going anywhere.

I wrote the first version of this draft almost exactly a year ago, but I wasn’t ready.

I am now.

πŸ’œ it fills my whole cup back up. we have a bunch of Gregg's mistflower, among other plants, that ours were especially loving today. we're in the process of planning out more gardening beds for all our butterfly and pollinator buddies.

this is random, but your "we are going to win" posts mean a lot to me. I literally brought them in up therapy this week lol. I have some real-life friends who get too defeatist and negative, and I cannot have that right now. I need a bit more earnest hope, and your posts are part of that, for me.

Hope folks feel less alone today, that people join with others to take further and deeper actions, and that everyone fights like hell to protect those most vulnerable to this regime.

19.10.2025 13:36 β€” πŸ‘ 1383    πŸ” 304    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

The Regime's goal is to grind everyone down. Plain & simple. Our goal is to refuse this by taking turns to fight where and how we can. When one group needs to bow out, then another group needs to step in and so on. We don't all have to do everything. We can all do something though. Stay in the fight

"Three Women in the Cast"

In this essay, I will analyze why the best series of Taskmaster are those in which there are three women in the cast. These include such renowned series as 9, 12, 13, 16, and the recent 19.

I also have advice. Everybody loves reading advice on the computer, so I'll share it: the best thing you can do right now is log off as hard as you can. Go outside, talk to people in real life where it's actually kind of rude to talk about the news, try to actually see the friends you usually just text message. Go for a long drive and turn the phone off while you do it. Get back into your hobbies or pick one and learn it for a while. Watch one of those studio movies that reviews called "wildly miscalculated" and you haven't seen since high school. Play an album you like but find embarrassing. Go to free community events even if they sound stupid. If you take the freeway, try the surface streets. Go to a bad diner and just order some bad coffee because even bad coffee is good coffee.
You can't help anybody when you're exhausted and keep posting one million college-educated rewordings of "I would love to be dead right now" on the computer. Walk away from the thing and try out some of those normal things you hear about and if you get bored that's wonderful because we're not supposed to get bored anymore. It turns out boredom is the Cadillac of feelings.

All of these words are true so I think it's very important for all of us to ask WHY people in and with power are agreeing to all of this... What's the most logical answer to that question?

The time is now. Right now. Time for literally all of us to push back against fascism.

You don't have to and literally can't do EVERYTHING. Don't worry about that!

Just pick the one or two issues/things you know and care about and join the people who are doing practical things to help.

yup yup yup yup. one of things gregory kept doing is with one side of his mouth, saying COVID is nothing, and with the other side of his mouth, using COVID to re-up his executive power with declarations. and it just...kept happening. hate ittttt!!!
