They visited 3 shops but I cut out some parts (including a 4th shop since it has nothing to do with QM).

I had a hard time subbing because the host had the tendency to speak fast & often mumbles. Nevertheless I liked this kind of challenge. Whatever I can't make out, I just guesstimated.

...he has this YT channel, a kind of gourmet show, where they "ambush" unknown restos, with the gimmick of asking to film inside "without an appointment". He is rebranding himself as a gourmet commentary reporter.
In this vid, QM shows him his favorite hangouts in Kichijoji, and his artworks.

Lastly, I subbed cut parts only of QM's guesting at a YT channel hosted by a comedian, the one who was caught in a furin scandal & was said to be the model for the adultery episode 8 of FuteHodo, if you recall, I talked about him in my trivia notes. He can't go back to terrestrial TV, so for now...

The story of my recently finished subbing project was first published as a novel in 2018, written by Minamoto T. The title was "Watashi Dake no Iris" (My Own Iris). The English word "Iris" can mean two things in Japan: that part of the eye, and the aperture function in the camera.
