People plan pensions over a lifetime. Knowing SPA is going to start rising in 4yrs time is irrelevant and can't be considered adequate notice to plan/prepare to work an extra 6yrs as an older woman/carer in a hostile employment market or live off savings losing c£48k in SP. Needed to know IN 1995.

How are you supposed to go looking for information you don't know about? SPA hadn't changed for 70years why would you look?

You're not understanding life without media 24/7. Gov have a duty to inform and communicate effectively. They failed. There is now requirement for 10yrs notice for each 1yr rise in SPA. We had 6yrs in one hit.

Tories did 1995 Act too but didn't put in place any policies for older workers. Employers didn't want 60+ women who'd been caring for kids then elderly relatives returning to work. Judges handed out divorces based on SPA 60, they didn't know either. Awareness grew with the internet and 2011 Act prep

Someone born IN 1955 had the full 6yrs in ONE HIT. SPA had been 60 all their lives. I suggest some research into the proven maladministration might help your understanding.

Few inaccurate references mostly on business pages weren't likely to hit women raising families. Someone expecting to retire at 60 IN 2015 would likely dismiss this even if they did see it.

We lost c£48k that's about £181bn collectively which is being used to offset national debt. Is it right to deprive women born in the 50s who've never had equality or equal right to pension savings or pay? We've paid more than our fair dues and were treated badly.
