Xcode 26.4 RC2 added a critical feature to agent support — the 'Allow All' permission is now applied to the specific CLI command, rather than just the use of the terminal

I was kind of shocked with the first release - hitting 'Allow All' before was effectively equivalent to running in YOLO mode 🤯

Interesting to see Xcode's Agentic AI using the terminal to run `xcodebuild` directly — this is good news, because I know many dev's who have created custom wrappers for this command, because its output is so verbose, even AI's can't parse it easily. This dogfooding should lead to improvements 🤞

Xcode's new Agentic support looks very promising, but am I missing something around permissions? Is the only way to get Terminal commands to run freely to allow ALL terminal commands?

This seems crazy for a company like Apple - I can't believe they shipped this without fine-grained permissions

When the answer to a problem moves from “hmm, I need to dig deeper to understand the needs of my users” to “oh, I just fucked it up”, it’s a huge relief!

On the plus side, this had impacted the growth numbers I had been tracking last year, and in the three days since I’ve fixed the issue, I seem to be right back on track! 🤞

Yeah, it kills me that I need to limit my usage and delete apps, then go to settings and realize that I’m only actually using 25% of the space I paid for

It fixed it at the time, but something is clearly wrong for it accumulated so quickly

At least your space is being taken up by real things - I apparently paid for 256 GB, but only get to use 64!

If storage gets _too_ low, the phone literally doesn't start, it just goes to a screen that scans the system for problems, finds none, restarts, and then goes right back into the same process again.

If iOS 27 really is going to be a "bug fix" release, I'd be happy if they fixed just this one issue!

Apple has a _huge_ issue with storage space — this problem isn't new, but it feels like it's gotten worse recently, and effects iOS and macOS.

This screenshot is from my iPhone, which I had to do a full restore on just 2 weeks ago. Why the hell is 'System Data' completely full already??
