ok so far it seems the shiny hunting methods in Z-A consist of:
- sitting on a bench cycling the night & day repeatedly
- spamming A on teleporters?
- entering & exiting buildings near town spawns
- flying to the same Zone repeatedly

an aside: forcing back trade evolutions when Linking Cord was a thing in PLA & asking for 1000 battles is extremely obnoxious.
