I watch old cartoons in the mornings on the weekends because of course I do, and it is surprising how much more racist they are then I remember. A big part if that is as a kid I did not recognize many of them as human. I thought they were just fantastical humanoids. 😬

I’m listening to the new blu-ray audio edition of Curtis Mayfield’s “Roots” and I don't know if it's due more to the remastering or the fancier format but good lord this sounds a /lot/ better than the CD I bought in the 90s.
