sketchy digital comic with ena shinonome and mizuki akiyama, limited watercolor palette of oranges and pinks. first panel, mizuki is smiling and looking away, her hand on her shoulder, while ena looks over at her. both are in their summer school uniforms. mizuki says "i really can't believe it..." and ena replies "hm?" mizuki responds "it's been half a year since i came out." next panel, mizuki has her head down a bit solemnly but with a smile and says "this is the first summer i've had where i'm not constantly worrying if it will be the last one i spend with others." she then smiles brightly at ena, saying "thanks, ena! really." ena is surprised and blushing at her, before lowering her head and sighing, saying "you know... that reminds me. i had something i wanted to give you..." ena reaches into her bag while mizuki smiles and laughs teasingly, saying "ooh, you got a gift for me? it's like an anniversary present almost, huh?"

continuing from the last comic, ena holds out a ring box with a cherry blossom ring, being the one from the ena5 cards. she says "here." next panel is a close up of mizuki's surprised eye, and then she laughs at her, smiling but nervous, saying "geh, ena?! you can't just give girls rings all dramatically like that! you make it look like some sort of proposal!" in the next panel, both are face to face with each other and it's a profile view of them both. mizuki stares at the ring while ena continues to smile. she then says "it kind of is, isn't it? it's a promise ring. that way, you'll never have to wonder if i really meant it when i said "forever" again." mizuki then laughs nervously again, scratching at her cheek and looking away, saying "ahaha, ena?! you didn't have to take it so literally! you make it sound so romantic or something..." ena, off screen, replies "i know. i like you, mizuki." and mizuki looks ahead stunned and blushing. surrounding her are sparkles and shoujo bubbles with the background being all pink.

last continuation of the comic. mizuki holds her hands out in shock and looks concerned, saying "huh?! w-w-wait! you shouldn't promise that much with me! i mean, friendship is one thing, but you'll really be burdened if you end up with me! forever is a long time and all..." mizuki then insecurely has her hand on her other arm and looks away, kind of tense. she says "i mean... i know it's not that serious, but we're still young, aren't we? surely there's a better, more normal girl you'd find out you like later on, or..." ena smiles sympathetically, then takes mizuki's hand. she says "i meant everything i said before, and i still mean it now. i mean every promise i make, and no one can decide any of my decisions or feelings for me." a panel focuses on the ring box in ena's hand, and she says "for now, let's keep the ring as "let's stay together", and not anything more serious if that helps. we can still be just friends if you want, too. nothing has to change much. it's up to you." mizuki laughs, more relieved now, and says "...okay. thank you. for always being patient with me. and... i like you, also." the next panel has a zoomed out profile view of ena putting the promise ring on mizuki's finger while smiling at her, with the scene cut in half with a ribbon, the other side revealing a future scene, where a grown up mizuki and ena are in wedding gowns and smiling at each other with their foreheads touching as they ring a wedding bell with petals falling over them. mizuki's words continue, reading "i want to stay together forever, too."
