Nothing says ‘measured strategy’ like lighting a match in a gasoline factory and calling it diplomacy. We bomb first, ask questions later, then act shocked when the fireworks spell out ‘long-term consequences.’ It’s not foreign policy; it’s a foreign tantrum.

America treats history like a Terms & Conditions page: scroll, ignore, click ‘Agree,’ and invade anyway. We keep sticking our hands on the same red-hot stove and blaming the stove. It’s not strategy; it’s déjà vu with a bigger defense budget and worse memory.

Chronic ocean heating fuels ‘staggering’ loss of marine life, study finds
Fish levels fall by 7.2% with as little as 0.1C of warming per decade, northern hemisphere research shows
Rising ocean temps blamed for massive die-off of marine life. "Researchers examined the year-to-year change of 33,000 [fish] populations in the northern hemisphere.... They found the drop in biomass from chronic heating to be as high as 19.8% in a single year." www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Trump Administration Moves to Allow Intelligence Agencies Easier Access to Law Enforcement Files
“None of this has been thought through very carefully,” one official said of the plans, which upend long-standing restrictions meant to protect Americans’ privacy.
Since the CIA’s Watergate-era spying on civil rights and anti-war activists inside the United States, intelligence agencies have, with some exceptions, been prohibited from gathering information on the domestic activities of U.S. citizens.

A galaxy with a line-like nucleus and a horseshoe-shaped arc above it. The horseshoe points down, and the nucleus is in the center of the arc. It looks like an upside down power symbol, ⏻. Both the nucleus and the horseshoe are fuzzy, yellow, and dotted with star clusters, which appear as blurry blue dots.
Sloan Digital Sky Survey image of Arp 6, also known as NGC 2537 or the Bear’s Paw Galaxy.
The horseshoe structure may be the result of a shockwave from a nuclear starburst.
