Time to go hug the dogs

Holy mother of fuck.

That it. Bedtime.

Maybe I'll wake up and this will all be a bad trip.

I'm so tired. My heart hurts.

The tax cockup was just one straw too many today. Going to go take a nap and hope I can face the world a little better after.

Here's a photo of a spoonrest I carved this morning.

I’m sorry, I know this sounds like a smart take but saying Ali Khamenei was β€œthe highest religious authority in Shia Islam” means you don’t really know what you’re talking about here either

Vasily Vereshchagin, b. 1842
The Apotheosis of War , 1871
Oil on Canvas.

Apotheosis depicts a pile of human skulls set on the barren earth, the aftermath of a battle or siege. A flock of carrion birds are seen to be occupied with picking over the pile; some birds have already landed, while others are flying in or roosting in nearby trees. The ground below them is a sallow, earthy yellow covered with grass, complementing the dirty ivory color of the partially-bleached skulls. The shadow cast by the mound, coupled with the many black orifices created by empty jaws and eye-sockets, adds a sense of depth to the painting, further exacerbating the scale of the deathly pile.

A range of mountains serves as a dividing line for the painting, separating the vastness of the steppes from the emptiness of the sky, while the city of Samarkand can be seen in the far right of the painting. The city's walls have visibly been breached, a reference to the Siege of Samarkand in the summer of 1868 in which the Russian garrison repulsed a Bukharid attack. On the work's frame, Vereshchagin inscribed that he dedicated the painting "to all great conquerors, past, present and to come".

The Minister of War of the Austrian Empire ordered that his soldiers be barred from viewing this painting, and banned its reproduction.

And that's assuming their portals don't just, not work. Which this one ALSO does. Partway through it just loops on itself and reloads the same page over and over. AWESOME

They never remember sole proprietorships exist when they make online portals. And then they say "it's all online" and switch to entirely computer phone systems and fire all the actual operators.

it’s wild how everyone hates Fetterman (correctly) and there’s a guy running who’s basically holding a huge I’m The Next Fetterman sign and it hasn’t slowed him down at all

What are you looking at?... Early morning. Pepe The Pine Martin, checking out his territory. He always has his eyes open. A true predator, he's known as nature's most adorable assassin. Very handsome. πŸ“ΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

At least the Napoleon plan came from a random customs house official. He hadn't promoted said random customs house official to head of the Admiralty, unlike our current admin.

If only their insecurities didn't also affect the rest of the world.

Sorry but I love it every time that the fraud betting apps go health insurance mode and find the smallest discrepancy to justify not paying out to the inside traders who are its core customer base. Eat shit.
