When I first ventured online it was awesome and connected me to so many people in cyberspace, but I disconnected from in person interactions. Now the internet seems to divide people and I long for the “night out with friends”.

Feeling throughly miserable right now, all because I tried to identify a knowledge gap, educate, & help people. Dismissed & told off for pointing out ableist language. I thought they had a safe space. It seems ableism is far more acceptable with my friends than I thought. So sad. I need chocolate!

“Wheelchair-bound” is offensive & outdated language. It was used in a comment on a friends post & that friend then used it. I explained nicely but was told off that it “wasn’t the place for that discussion”
1: the post was about PIP.
2: It’s not a “discussion”, it’s is a negative term. End of.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
