Say average of 2,000 tickets at say £30 a ticket over c17 games that’s over a £1m out of the EFL economy plus matchday spending. That ought to give the EFL (made up of Chairpersons) and the new Regulator food for thought over what one of their ‘Members’ is doing.

Matchday income goes in part to paying the staff and employing the zero hours kiosk staff. It will only be a matter of time before he starts to lay off some of the permanent staff, an Administrator almost certainly will. It’s an unholy mess which will get worse whilst DC will still be a rich man

Turnover is vanity, profit is sanity but cash is king. People are already being laid off or not getting their much needed shifts. My guess is his cost cutting puts us on a par with many L1 and L2 clubs so he will hang on and that for him as a gambler will be a win

Afraid I have no answers to that. It just doesn’t sit easy with me that people are losing money,jobs and livelihoods whilst I protest. I also fear lots of fans will not return and that must be a concern for any would be purchaser.

What hard evidence is there that the boycott is affecting DC ? It’s caffecting local businesses (judging by the queue at Beres)zero hours staff laid off and suppliers hit. He just cuts his cloth accordingly. How big would the crowds be anyway for a team losing every week and L1 next year ?
