thats honestly where my head went to next! i do enjoy the mork borg armor die, i like adding a variable to the damage absorbed rather than a flat number, and u can always fiddle with it depending on enchantments or whatnot.

i had a small game where two factors determined to hit, a dodge score you would roll under and an armor score youd roll over, the “sweet spot” so to speak, not entirely different from vanilla game or whitehack come to think of it. may revisit the idea with a slight dmg die absorption tacked onto it
